What's a placeblog?

It’s not a newspaper, though it may contain random acts of journalism

We need "Columnists" to write, to photograph and to take videos about the following elements of rural culture:
- Architecture - homes, churches, gov't structures
- Art - galleries, museums, murals, sculptures
- Commerce - businesses, trades, economic development
- Cuisine - restaurants, speciality shops
- Customs - annual events, celebrations, traditions
- Geography - scenic drives, trails
- History - military, oil and gas, agriculture, mainstreet
- People - individuals, families, genealogy
