Still Waiting To Hear From You...

A repost from Nov. 4, 2005:
Purpose Of This Blog:
PrattTown is a "PlaceBlog" about life and living in Pratt, Kansas USA.

What's a placeblog?
"A placeblog is an act of sustained attention to a particular place over time
It can be done by one person, a defined group of people, or in a way that’s open to community contribution
It’s not a newspaper, though it may contain random acts of journalism
It’s about the lived experience of a place"

If you are interested in becoming a "Columnist" for PrattTown, send an email to the site moderator requesting an invitation to participate.

We need "Columnists" to write about the following elements of rural culture:

* Architecture - homes, churches, gov't structures
* Art - galleries, museums, murals, sculptures
* Commerce - businesses, trades, economic development
* Cuisine - restaurants, speciality shops
* Customs - annual events, celebrations, traditions
* Geography - scenic drives, trails
* History - military, oil and gas, agriculture, mainstreet
* People - individuals, families, genealogy
* you-name-it

Give it a try, it's Free and Fun!
