A B-25J Mitchell arrived at Pratt Industrial Airport on Saturday October 24 from Midland Texas.
The crew, Kurt Koukkari, Jim Gilmore and Mark Erickson landed in Pratt to refuel "Miss Mitchell", for their trip home to St. Paul, Minnesota.
They were greeted by a small crowd of local aviation enthusiasts who came out to see the restored "Warbird".
Representatives of the B-29 Museum project discussed with the crew the possibility of seeing "Miss Mitchell" again at a future date associated with an event that will be planned for the Bombers On The Prairie Museum.
More information about "Miss Mitchel" and her crew can be found on the Minnesota Wing of the Commemorative Air Force website at

There is also a B-25 based at the Tulsa Airport that you might talk into visiting your site. Let me know if you are interested and I will find a contact for you.

Thank you Mr. Tolbert for the information on another B-25 very close to Pratt kansas. I have notified the Museum Association's President, Phil Schulz, about your comment. He is also a member of the B-29 Yahoo group, so he will be contacting you shortly. I am also aware that you are a WW II B-29 veteran too and flew with the 505th Bomb Group. I want to personally thank you for your service and wish you well.
Cool!
